Job Description:
The School of Management at Binghamton University, State University of New York, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in Business Analytics and Operations available for Fall 2018.
The successful candidate must have (or expect) a Ph.D. in Operations Management or related fields before Fall 2018. We seek candidates with strong commitment to high quality research and teaching in business analytics and operations management with interests in healthcare operations and related areas. Binghamton University has established a health science initiative to integrate cutting-edge basic, applied and translational research in health sciences and health care systems. Applicants with strong methodological training in analytics and mathematical modeling are particularly desirable. We support quality research with a teaching load of two courses per semester.
The School of Management is accredited by AACSB and ranked among the top public undergraduate business programs. The school offers bachelors, masters, and Ph.D. programs. Binghamton is a substantial regional high-tech community with employers such as IBM, Lockheed Martin, Universal Instruments, British Aerospace, and United Health Services. Three hours from New York City and one hour from Syracuse and Ithaca, Binghamton is a low cost of living regional medical/retail hub for 200,000 people.
Candidates must have (or expect) a Ph.D. in Operations Management or related fields before Fall 2018 and demonstrate sound teaching credentials and the ability to conduct high quality research.
