**Job Description**
**BAE Systems in Endicott, NY is looking for a Manufacturing Training Administrator**
Training Administrator (TA) assists in facilitating training for production personnel in both company and job specific curriculum (soldering, inspection, etc.)
The Training Administrator position will consist of the following duties (and others as assigned)
+ maintaining accurate training records, ensuring that workers have completed required on the job training, and that they have been trained by qualified trainers.
+ provide general administrative support to the Training Specialist and Training Coordinator.
+ conduct training classes and administer tests to manufacturing personnel, with a general focus on assembly operators.
+ work directly with employees and contractors as well as the area supervisors to ensure on-time completions of training courses and quick closure on expired training.
+ support the Training Organization during internal and external audits by providing training records.
+ procure supplies for the Training School and will prepare training kits and other relevant training materials for classes. The TA oversee and organize orientation training for new employees.
+ coordinate the billing and payment process with external vendors.
The TA may also work with the Training Specialist and/or Training Coordinate to prepare grant applications or to develop training materials.

**Required Skills and Education**
+ 6 years experience in related area.
+ AA/AS degree or equivalent number of years of practical work experience acceptable in lieu of education.
+ Manufacturing Solder experience (J-STD-001 or equivalent)
+ Proficient Microsoft Office or other software applications.
+ Meticulous recordkeeping skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ A kind but firm approach
**Preferred Skills and Education**
+ J-STD-001 and/or IPC 610 Certified Instructor
+ Demonstrated computer proficiency with database manipulation and presentation preparation skills.
